The gameplay looks like DMC, which is good. But I'm still not digging Dante's look.

Not sure how I feel about this, something about the art style just struck me the wrong way. Action still looked good and while I like the concept art of the new Dante I just don't think it has translated very well into in game graphics.

Edit: The hair cut bugs me. It's the shaved on the sides full on top look that I don't appreciate; it's like he was going to go for a Mohawk but chickened out half way.

Looks great! They're doing a good job making me care about the series again after DMC4.

I know i'm gonna get a torrent of shit for this but, I almost prefer this look to his old look. I mean at least he has a shirt on. Who wears a leather jacket without a shirt?

This looks... pretty bad, graphically.  Reallly uninteresting enemy design from what they showed, and the graphics on Dante himself just look plain bad no matter how you feel about the new look.  When is this being released, again?  Because they need at the least another year or so to make it look on par with a good PS2 game.

Totally expect a rattail with that hair cut. Flash to the end of phantom menace when they showed young anakin with the obi wan hair style.

Don't like the look of the game at all. The teaser trailer that was first released for this looked infinitely more interesting. I hope they didn't back down on the style or anything just because of stupid ass fanboys that will never be satisfied.

Work in Progress? Thank god for that because it certainly looks that way. Graphics look washed out, the environments have that same icky blandess from DMC2 and the overall hackin' n slashin' doesn't look as fluid as DMC4--nor as powerful. And though I've got little against the new Dante look, did they have to make him almost Ethiopian skinny? His character model in general resembles a small action figure. 
 
Still, some great music at least.

DMC4 who was finished in late 2007 with MT Framework engine in 60 fps,looks hundred times better than this pile of dog shit of UE3 with barely 30 stable fps.
Seems like Capcom are just idiots who don't understand that you can't give established franshise to ''shitty'' western developers, who don't know how to do great action games.They just can't learn enough from past mistakes.
From one of the biggest backlash to Capcom in TGS 2010,this travesty just repeats itself.
I hope to God that there's DMC5 after this game bombs hard,if not you can already say R.I.P.

Not a big fan of the series but have to admit that Dante in this looks rather generic & unimaginative.

Seeing as I don't spend too much time staring at Dante's face, I'm not too worried. The only problem might be with the cutscenes - can this portrayal of Dante match up to the ridiculousness I've come to expect? Can't wait to play this game.

It looks hella Devil May Cry and the graphical changes like the world being washed out and then coming into more vivid color look pretty interesting.

awesome. first day buy for me (whenever that is) as for the hair i really don't care just as long as he's still dante. it kind of bothers me that some people won't buy this just because of that.

The fighting seemed too slow and none of the attacks seemed to have any impact.

i dislike this quite a bit, get a DMC2 vibe of it and some would have you believe that game doesn't exist. Ill buy it though in the hopes that in the end all will be alright

Was hoping Ninja Theory of all developers would smoothen out the animation.  I guess the erratic DMC combat doesn't really lend itself to smooth animation, but it still looks quite jerky.

Fuck this game and the movie they are basing on it.

I want good old Dante back and the movie to have good old cocky, fun loving Dante.
