    Dod_Palermo was part of a huge Day of Defeat: Source update that took place in June 2008 and was named 'Palermo Update'. This update include Dod_Palermo, Steam Community Interegation (Avatars, names...etc), a freeze cam, achievements and statistics. This update wasn't welcomed very well by some more expierienced Day of Defeat: Source players who believe that the freeze cam removed the whole World War II feel of the game and many players decided to boycott the game.
