Dodongo's Cavern is located part way up Death Mountain in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. The entrance is initially blocked by a giant boulder. Link is tasked by Darunia, the leader of the Gorons, to enter the Cavern and defeat King Dodongo. He gives Link the Goron's Bracelet, allowing him to pick up bombs and blow away the entrance to the dungeon.
Inside the dungeon, Link battles against dodongos, flying bats known as Keese, and fighting Lizalfos. Eventually he is able to enter the giant dodongo skull that sits in the main room and fall into the lair of King Dodongo. After defeating the boss, Darunia gives Link the Goron's Ruby, one of the three spiritual stones he needs.
