Dog Daze Deluxe, published like its predecessor through the Atari Program eXchange, is not a big change from the original, but it does add a graphical upgrade for sprites along with a colorful background, and more importantly allows for one-player play against the computer.
Unfortunately this game was seldom seen or played, possibly due in part to the video game industry crash.
A clone of the game was later developed, called Dog Daze Revolution, by the Twin Eagles Group.
