Donald Love in Vice City
In Grand Theft Auto III Donald Love seems like a secure, confident business man who knows how to handle a problem. In Vice City, however, he is about 20 years younger and a lot less capable.
There, he's taken under the wing of Avery Carrington; a local business man who provides Vice City protagonist Tommy Vercetti with multiple missions throughout the game. What's funny about the connection between Donald Love in Vice City and Donald Love in Grand Theft Auto III, is that in Vice City it appears that Donald Love has learned a lot from his mentor Avery. This gets more clear when we start to recognize certain one-liners coming out of Avery's mouth, that we first heard in Grand Theft Auto III:
"Nothing brings down real estate prices quicker than a good old-fashioned gang war, except maybe a disaster, like a biblical plague or something, but that may be going too far in this case."
