Platforming Bliss
Packed with inventive and joyful levels, this is one of the best games on the Wii U. It boasts an immensely satisfying difficulty curve that increases gently without any abrupt spikes. There's a flow and rhythm at play here that few other platformers can capture. Tropical Freeze will blow you away with some of its platforming set pieces; featuring levels that shift and change dynamically as you progress through it's 7 unique worlds. The fact that you get to play while listening to David Wise's wonderful score is the icing on the cake. I adore this game, and if you enjoy 2D platformers at all, you would do yourself well to give this game a try.
