    Remarkably fun game

Remarkably fun game. I've played all the DOOM games and this one is by far the best (in terms of fun-factor). What I mean by that is the game, at times, does NOT take itself seriously at all. Unlike the newest Wolfenstein games, it's done RIGHT with DOOM Eternal. The over-the-topness of it all really adds to the overall experience of DOOM and the story, although rushed, is VERY fun and interesting. Of course, you're not playing DOOM for the story...

The weapons, abilities, modifiers, enemies, puzzles, etc. etc. are what make this game as fun as it is. You get a plethora of enemies to fight ranging from the ones you know and love to kill to some new ones that have not been seen in a DOOM game yet. The weapons are all pretty standard DOOM weapons but they feel so... good in this game, that part's hard to explain.

I got about 17 hours out of this game. 20 at the time of review because I wanted to go back and get all the "things"

I also tried the MASTER levels - SUPER fun but *MAN* I wish this was Co-op....

I did not try the multiplayer, nor will I ever.

Look, if you like DOOM, this is a MUST HAVE.

I was wrong, it is true that Doom Eternal is much more mechanically dense than its predecessor but it has such an excellent skill curve that a lot of casual players can easily work their way up in term of skill. This game is not only a wonderful r...
