After the events of Doom, Hell has found its way to Earth. The last living scientists develop a plan to evacuate what's remaining of the human race with enormous space ships. Unfortunately, the demons have taken control of the only spaceport, and it's up to the nameless space marine to take it back.
Did anyone else ever find an ammo backpack throughout the entire course of the extra campaign in Doom 2? I found a decent number of the items in the levels for the most part, but I wasn't able to find an ammo backpack until the final level (unfortunately after I had already defeated the Cyberdemon, not that it matters).
It made the extra campaign way harder than it had to be on Ultra-Violence simply because I was so starved for ammo the entire time. Or at the very least, it forced me to switch weapons more often or to use my chainsaw more often on pinky demons.
