Brutal Doom is a mod that does pretty much what it sounds like. It makes the game really, REALLY brutal. But man, does it breath new life into Doom. It adds a TON of new death animations and blood effects, keeping all of the monsters from doing the same death animations over and over. Also adds giblet explosions and beserk fatalities. It really brings a ton of variety to the combat. Some of the weapons are modified, both visually and audibly. New explosion and fire effects are pretty awesome.
