Your Favorite/Main DOTA 2 Hero?
When i first started playing it was gyro all the way. In the beggining game you would be dumb to go 1v1 against him with no creeps around. and later in the game he only gets better at jungling and pushing lanes. Sure at best he's only a semi carry since his rocket barrage tapers off, and the rest of his stuff is great at team fights but not really a big threat 1v1 later on unless properly farmed.
personally i loved him becasue I would help out in team fights, being able to counter push lanes as well as push lanes, but the overall main carry would still be someone else so when I was in the noob phase, it wasn't expected do all the hard work.
but now I just play whatever hero fits the team dynamic as much as possible.
I'm still an ultra noob so I like Drow Ranger (because she is super easy to use and I can hide at the back) and Tidehunter because of his crazy HP and defence.
I've been branching out a bit more recently though and had some success with Bounty Hunter, Windrunner and Dragon Knight.
Hmmm. This is a tough question. For me I tend to go through separate phases of characters. I've jumped from Ursa to Night Stalker to Sven and now I'm split between Spirit Breaker and Viper. Ursa has really fallen off for me simply because if an excruciating game where I couldn't do anything against a team with a bunch of stuns. Picked up on Night Stalker and had an absolute blast but I always get sad when the sun comes out. But he's definitely the character that made me feel like I was learning stuff. Sven was pretty enjoyable, he's got a pretty good stun and that Ultimate with a high level Sven is unbelievable. Spirit Breaker is self explanatory. If he gets going it's just a mess, but he's a bit weaker in team fights which kinda hurts. Viper is just an asshole to lane with, and I enjoy being that asshole. Id say though my favorite would have to be sprit breaker followed by Night stalker, they both have that ability to overpower a lone unit that I love. My up and commer now though is Huskar which I'm 2-0 with.
Support wise I played a game with Shadow Shamen and really enjoyed him but I think keeper is definitely my favorite support.
I've also enjoyed messing with Rubick but I don't know what to classify him as. He can be a decent support but also aggressive if the right spell is stolen.
Lycanthrope thematically, don't play him though cause he's not viable for jungle from level 1. I guess Sniper and Dragon Knight are my favorite from a gameplay and mechanics perspective.
Nice, simple and pretty powerful if you farm. In other words, noob heroes.
What this thread needs is more funny fan art of their favorite hero.
I could not agree with you more. As such; I bring you JUGGERNAAAAAAAAAAAUT!
Oh, and this here's just too good to pass up.
Yes! What the world needs now is Persona dialog with Dota 2 characters. "Crystal Maiden is my mothers daughter" says Lina.
@extomar: Well if you say so

Ogre Magi...COZ MULTICAST.
Before screaming "BLACK HOOOOOOOOOOOOOLE" was a thing on the internet, there was a time I played in net cafes and I had a friend who whenever he played Ogre Magi, everytime Fireblast gets MULTI-CASTED he would also shout "MUUUULTIIIIIIIII CAAAAAAAAAAAST" really loud while proceeding to taunt his opponents and calling their heroes "the equivalent of wet bread" or "wet tissue paper". It was incredibly entertaining and since then his voice shouting "MUUUULTIIIIIIIII CAAAAAAAAAAAST" would ring out in my mind every time I played Ogre Magi and got a Multi-cast.

Yeah, I think the fact that people consider certain heroes as "support" heroes is because of how somewhat rigid roles are in League. Example: Windrunner plays a support role early on but can proceed to become semi-carry later on to assist in FF. Dota has some weird-ass, hybrid-role heroes. Man... THIS GAME...
For pure fun to play factors I got to say Riki, he was the first hero I played and had an absolute blast with and sort of got me to understand why folks love this game. Other than that I've had a lot of fun playing Juggernaut, Drow Ranger and Jakiro.
I've always liked Venge's (swap), Magnus's (skewer, rp) and Disruptors (glimpse, field) abillity to mess up the positioning of the enemies. I know there are more heroes like these, haven't really gotten to them yet.
And speaking of mind games, I'm getting more and more fond of TA. The amount of aggravation that refraction can cause to some of the popular "pubstomp" heroes is delicious. And that meld damage, and those traps, and the farm rate with psi blades. Good stuff.
I haven't played nearly enough heroes to establish a true favorite, but right now it's definitely Timersaw. Those trees don't stand a chance.
Clockwerk. He's a bad ass. Spirit breaker is also a lot of fun, so is Jakiro. Clockwerk's hook is just sooooo good though.
@spyder335: Pssssst. If you wanna do something hilarious with Omnislash, build aghanims, desolator and stack battlefuries. It's not especially good as a core build, but it will provide hilarious results in a clustered fight.
