    Like his brother, Mario, Luigi finally earned his medical degree and is now prescribing pills for that fever or chill!

    Game Modes

    Operation L

    This mode uses a double dosage of pills as each "piece" is actually two pills stuck together creating L-shaped capsules.

    Retro Remedy

    This mode uses single capsules just like the original Dr. Mario style of play.

    Virus Buster

    This mode uses single capsules, and can only be played with the Wii U Gamepad's touch screen. Users must rotate falling capsules with a quick tap and drag them into place using the stylus.

    Online Battle

    Connect to Nintendo Network and engage in online battles with friends and fellow players from around the world.

    Sub-Game Modes

    Every game mode, with the exception of Virus Buster, has three sub modes included.

    Classic

    Play through unlimited stages for as long as possible. Eliminate every virus to clear a stage and move to the next one -- each is harder than the last!

    Vs. CPU

    A frantic battle that pits the player against an AI. Win by destroying all of the viruses first or by using chains and combos to make the CPU lose.

    Flash

    Battle against the CPU in a race to clear the flashing viruses. Win by destroying all of the flashing viruses first or by attacking the CPU with chains and combos.
