I'll be trying it on PC and 360 for sure, and maybe even give it a whirl on PS3, although I figure the Xbox version will give me enough of a feel of the console controls. What are you guys gonna try it on?

This sequel to Dragon Age: Origins features faster combat, a new art style, and a brand new, fully voiced main character named Hawke.
Dragon Age 2 Demo, what are you playing the Demo on?
The 360, because it's already available.
The PC demo isn't up until later and the PS3 until tomorrow.
I'll likely download it again for the PC though, if the 360 demo doesn't give you the bonus items for all platforms.
Was wondering about the PC demo, doesn't sound like it's available yet.
and yeah, not hearing great things about it from the Xbox 360 demo.
Hmm, gonna head home from work now, looks like not so great news so far on consoles. Still, I'll give it a try on 360 and then see when the PC version goes up.
" Why are people not liking the console versions? "Because it is the console version and you know how most PC gamers are when it comes to that. You also hit buttons to do things I am guessing. I better stop talking shit though because I might not like the game too. I am downloading the demo now.
Yep, every person who didn't like the demo on 360 is a PC gamer." @luce said:

Anyone know if the Demo unlocks the bonus items for every version, or do I have to play it on both 360 and PC to unlock it on each system?
" @Chris2KLee: Log in to your profile on the bioware website and take a look. It'll have the platform icon next to the download. "Demos still DL'ing on my 360, just seeing if anyone who finished it already might know by now.
" Finished the 360 demo... I am not liking it. Enemies feel like lifeless punching bags with a life bar. Mashing the A button while waiting for cool downs makes that incredibly apparent. I'll reserve my final judgement on the PC demo, but I'm not having high hopes. "Have to disagree with this, the combat feels far more tactile and interesting. Even if you prefer the PC combat system, it was horrible for the consoles in the first game, so this is a vast improvement and the only real difference is that you're pressing A to attack, rather than auto-attacking and waiting for cool downs. My only problem with the demo is that they once again seem to be trying to advertise it as a heavy game and showing as little of the RPG elements as possible. It gives you no access to the inventory and repeatedly skips ahead to show MORE combat.. the part with Isabella seemed completely pointless.
The other major point is that there definitely are much fewer dialogue choices, so it feels like you're playing as a set role rather than a custom character (which we already knew anyway) but I think that's going to be the biggest divider. Some people will prefer it this way and others will completely hate it. I think it does make the character feel more dynamic, instead of the cardboard cut out you were playing in the first.. But I don't see why this was necessary.
PC for definite, as that's where I played the last 2(origins and awakening), also decided I'm going to go with the PC for Deus Ex 3 when it finally drops.

I liked the demo on 360, but I wish you could use your inventory in demo too and few other things that is unavailable in demo. Anyway, demo left positive feeling of the game. I am going to try the demo on PC when it's available, but I don't think it will run on my laptop with high res.

Who knows I might be saying the same things after I am done.Yep, every person who didn't like the demo on 360 is a PC gamer. "" @luce said:

I'll be buying the game on the PC so I'll be playing the demo on the PC. The PC version was the one I was most concerned about them wrecking so I'll need to see that the combat is still as good as it was in DA:O.
I'm playing it on the 360 and I'm surprisingly intrigued by this version. I need to play the PC demo to decide whether I should buy it there or the 360 though. I bought the first game on the PC but I don't have the save anymore so it seems I'm in a situation where it wouldn't really matter story wise.
I'm mostly happy to hear the protagonist speak. Great voice actor for the male Hawke.
