So somehow I posted a thread without a post in it... Weird.
Anyway, post your Hawke pics here. If you can. If the forums aren't too fubar'd.

Show us your Hawke (Unofficial official Hawke pic thread)
You want me to show you a picture of Mike Hawk? No thank you. I went with the defult Hawk so I won't bother posting a picture.
"No Mike Hawke's in this thread, please. Though to be fair and warn you, if it does happen, it will be met with vibrant-colored artificial Mike Hawke's.You want me to show you a picture of Mike Hawk? No thank you. I went with the defult Hawk so I won't bother posting a picture.

He looks pretty much like my Dragon Age Origins Character, but seeing as how they were from the same family, it makes some sense :)

Sorry about the blood, I just stepped on a bug.
"That's from DA II? Those robe textures are blurry as all hell.
Yes, it is very weird looking older than my own mother. "
" @JJWeatherman said:Indeed. That is without the high-res texture pack, as I don't have a DX11 card... but still, pretty terrible." @Khann said:Ha, I was thinking the same thing. Hell it looks worse than Origins... ""That's from DA II? Those robe textures are blurry as all hell. "

I normally play a male character for my 1st play-through in games, but for some reason I chose to go with a girl this time.
None of the male presets felt like they really fit the style I was going for.
So I went with this character...
She's a quick & scrappy style fighter (rogue) with a sarcastic / crude sense of humor. She strongly opposes the Templar, believing that all mages should be free. She will first try to resolve any situation peacefully, but when shit hits the fan, she is a ruthless and effective killer. She's not afraid to get her hands dirty if she feels the end result is "the right thing" in her heart. She also tends to step in and fight for "the little guy" in most situations.
Normally first playthrough I do a male mage/rogue that looks like me... decided to go completely different this time so my Warden and Champion aren't exactly the same in this storyline.
I thought I encountered some sort of LOD bug when I first saw the textures. DAO basically used the same engine, and according to Mike Laidlaw, they made huge improvement over the engine in DA2. However, If I ignore the new art style, DAO just looks far better texture-wise......" @Enigma777 said:

and DAO doesn't need DX11 or 1024mb RAM on video card to do that. All the clothes textures look like they were baked to the new models form the old DAO modles without further correction......
They put so much effort to encourage people to pre-order before reviews came out. They claimed they fixed the DX11 bug in the demo, yet people still have performance issues. They said that console version will have auto-attack, and after the game was out, they said that auto-attack is not there due to a bug. These all sounds to me like thay fucking lied. I can stand bugs as long as they fix them. But lying developers are the worst. I used to pre-order every game from Bioware, but after DA2, I think I'll wait for the reviews before I make a purchase.
However, no reviews ever mentioned the recycled yet worse textures frome DAO in DA2. So maybe just waiting for the reviews are not enough, either......
That being said, I am 10 hours in, and I am liking DA2 so far despite blurry textures. lol
I actually managed to make a character that kinda looks like me, I'm proud of the normal looking face, not the typical action heroine stuff.
" @Navyseils said:I will third that. Nice catch. Very creepy." @Abyssfull: to me that looks like a medieval Paul Rudd. "I will second that. "
" @Soap said:You dare call my Hawke creepy?? He's stonefisted people for much less, I'll have you know!... OK, now that sounds pretty creepy." @Navyseils said:I will third that. Nice catch. Very creepy. "" @Abyssfull: to me that looks like a medieval Paul Rudd. "I will second that. "
" @JJWeatherman said:Yeah, a little bit. You can stonefist all you want in the privacy of your bedroom, but leave it there, dammit! =P" @Soap said:You dare call my Hawke creepy?? Burning question: Does your Paul Rudd Hawke enjoy Picross 3D?
