Has anyone else noticed that the theme at the title menu of the game (and then sung later by Mother Giselle after "In Your Heart Shall Burn") is incredibly similar to Pippin's Song from Return of the King? I've been playing this game for the past week and it's been driving me crazy. It does diverge at certain points, but damn, that melody is nearly identical for much of the song.

A lot of people have noticed. It's also reminiscent of the Game of Thrones theme and the Theme of Gondor theme.

@the_ruiner: Because they are all generic sweeping fantasy songs.

I would say it's somewhat similar, but not even close to "identical".

I also thought all the tavern music was exceptionally well written and put music from the previous games to good use.

I gotta say while the music is good in this dragon age nothing quite as memorable as something like this from DA:O

Why cant you just go to the bard and wish for a song? It sounds like the most obvious thing ever to implent in the game and every time i enter the tavern it baffles me why they didnt. Sometimes the Bard is just standing there not even playing anything wtf?

Imagine if you could make a wish for any of the songs you had collected sofar, i would even throw my money at her since there is nothing else in the entire game that is worth spending any money on.
