I heard about this. Considering they have a decent engine with a fully fleshed toolset, I think a sequel after only about a year and a half is reasonable, though I certainly hope it's not too rushed.

They seemed to have put together a pretty good expansion pack in such a short while, I wouldn't be surprised if, after all the time they've already taken to flesh out their world's background and the plotline it will follow, they are now able to pump out full sequels pretty quickly.

I hope we get another expansion before then!

I wont be surprised in the least if Dragon Age 2 releases next year, hell I'll be more surprised if it doesn't.

Pretty sure that if a darkspawn party member isn't already in Awakening (not finished with it quite yet), it will be in the next game, sort of like the Loghain choice. It seems to me that's what they're setting up with the whole talking darkspawn biz.

I think a tranquil party member would be pretty hilarious. "
