Dan Lazin of Bioware asked fans a few weeks ago on Twitter to guess the number of english voice actors being cast in Dragon Age Origins. I guessed 142. The answer was 143 and I won a T-Shirt for my effort. The dude himself warned me that he thought the shirt was ugly and asked if I wanted a Jade Empire shirt instead. I told him to hit me with it and this is what I recieved!
I actually think it's really cool. Rusty brown colour aside, it's unique!
I'm guessing this it's pretty rare considering the developers don't even like it. I haven't seen it around at game events or in Bioware interviews. They probably made one or two, thought HELL NO and then stopped.
If anyone else has seen this shirt tell me so I can feel less special
Dragon Age: Origins
Game » consists of 20 releases. Released Nov 03, 2009
Dragon Age: Origins is an epic fantasy role-playing game featuring a rich story, personality-driven characters, and tactical, bloody combat. It is considered a spiritual successor to the Baldur's Gate series.
Bioware sent me this
That's awesome that he did that! Though I think I may agree with Dan on the ugliness of it :-P Though I probably would of taken that over Jade Empire any day (it is a unique Dragon Age shirt!) I don't know how often I would wear that out in public. Depending on where I was going :-p
Really cool though and grats! Definitely haven't seen that shirt anywhere else!
Heh, my aim wasn't to recieve praise, just so y'know. But thanks!
Yeah the color is really narrow and the T-Shirt itself is really long, it's hard to tell the scale in those pictures. (I've never been to Canada so this makes me think Canadians are long. Like girrafes or spaghetti)
It's a T-Shirt though, the neck can stretch and the body can fold.
They've done what they set out to do and I'm now lookin' forward to the game even more. Huzzah!
"Yeah the color is really narrow and the T-Shirt itself is really long, it's hard to tell the scale in those pictures. (I've never been to Canada so this makes me think Canadians are long. I'm guessing the reason the neck hole is so small is because the shirt is probably like a XXXL. I hate that when people give away shirts, but make them large enough to fit anyone. Sure it's nice for big dudes, but I wear a medium, sometimes a large. Looks like a pretty cool shirt though.
" That collar looks minuscule. Good job winning it though. "Dude yeah. Whats up with that?
I think it looks good, unique and not overly game like. Some sort of indie/alternative look. I'd wear it.
But then again I am wearing this right now at work;
" I'm guessing the reason the neck hole is so small is because the shirt is probably like a XXXL. I hate that when people give away shirts, but make them large enough to fit anyone. I'ma skinny dude and my girlfriend accused me of looking gay because it's tight on even me. I had to point out the blood on the front and she backed down. Everyone knows gays can't stand the sight of blood.
I'll post a picture tomorrow of me with it on and standing next to something so you can see the scale. And also just for the hell of it.
That purple T Shirt is PURRPPPPPLLLLEEE. I like it.
1 - I am 6 foot 3 inches tall, and although you can't see my legs, you should still be able to see that the T-Shirt is a long ass T-Shirt. As a note let me say I could wear nothing but that without fear of exposing myself. I won't though. No.
2 - As you can see in picture number two - I am not choking.
3 - I'm not actually a MySpace emo, despite the second picture.
