can't decide if i should get this on either platform. PC is my go to for gaming but PS communities tend to be more populous and active when it comes to fighting games

Wait and see if the PC version is flaming garbage or not.

The PC version is apparently a straight up console port and offers no special visual options outside of the resolution. So when it comes to the graphics and performance I guess it doesn't matter.

It is the first DBZ game on Steam so there's probably going to be a decent population for the first few months at least. I'm just worried there'll be lots of cheaters and such.

I think in the end you should wait and see how the PC version turns out though, since it could be complete trash for all we know. Too bad that particular version comes out after the console ones. (Which does seem kind of suspicious, but it is only by like two days or something)

From the beta it seems to be like Phantasy Star Online with a hub that you walk around and then you jump into a mission at which point it plays like a Budokai game.

I would think you'll want this for PS4. I'll prolly pick it up for PS4

Wait and see what the sale is like on PS+ versus Steam, or maybe, because Sony is cool and Dragon Ball Z is cool, it'll be one of those free games of the month!

Though the GOTY edition is likely to be found far cheaper on Steam. I've got a huge backlog and wishlist already, so I'm fine to wait for that GOTY edition.

I can't believe they're charging full price for this game though. Seems more like a 40-50 dollar game

Been watching a Twitch Stream for a while and seems like the PC version runs pretty good.

On the PS4 version its awesome so far!

I've played a few hours of the PC version and aside from some achievements being bugged it seems like a really solid port. I'm pleasantly surprised. Hopefully Namco's other PC ports will be this solid.

It's full price outside of the US though :( £40 for the game and £20 for the season pass, so a good old $95 for both :D

So there's nothing really wrong with the PC port? Have ya'll encountered hackers on PC yet, or is that handled pretty well with this game?

It's hard to really say since the servers take a dump every 15 minutes but I haven't seen any actual hackers yet. Just people that have way better gear than they should considering the game just came out on Steam.

Otherwise, very solid port.
