    Overview

Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai - Another Road (known in Europe and Japan as Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai 2) is a 2.5D sci-fi fantasy fighting game developed by Dimps and published for the PlayStation Portable in North America (by Atari on March 20, 2007), Japan (by Namco Bandai on June 7, 2007), and Europe (by Namco Bandai on June 22, 2007).

A handheld spinoff of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai series (and the sequel to Dragon Ball Z: Shin Budokai), Another Road features a unique original story detailing what happens after the alternate-timeline Trunks returns to his timeline after the defeat of Cell. Just as in the main timeline, the alternate-timeline Babidi plans to resurrect the demon Majin Buu. As Trunks is too weak to take on Babidi's forces himself (which was later retconned in Dragon Ball Super), he travels back to the main timeline to enlist the help of the Z Fighters once again.

    Characters

The game features 18 playable characters (5 of which must be unlocked beforehand).
