    I think it's local, but the game does have DLC.

    @Apathylad:   I figured it would just save to the gamepack.  Maybe it has a little bit of storage for DLC.

    A lot of derping in here lol.
     
    A lot of other DS games have had DLC that you could download from within the game.  So, you don't need a DSi to download the DLC.  The game stores it into the cartridge.
