    Dropstone makes its appearance early in Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box and doesn't stay for long. While the Molentary Express is stopped at there they are having a festival. Professor Layton and company find out that Mr. Anderson, the wealthiest man in Dropstone, has gone looking for the Elysian Box before. They find him and he warns them to leave it be. At the same time his daughter Katia has decided to leave town on the Molentary Express and boards the train just after the repairs are finished.
