In the Warriors Orochi review I did not too long ago, I bashed it for being a formula that was done over, and over, and over again, with no new changes at all. Well, Koei has finally produced a new Dynasty Warriors game, that finally starts to break out of it. To anyone who's followed and played the DW series, you can instantly feel the change as soon as you get to playing in Dynasty Warriors 6, it simply seems to breathe a little more life. It's the Same Warriors that We All Know and Love and Hate 0
We are off to Ancient China, circa 180 in Dynasty Warriors 6. The object is simple, just like the previous installments: Lay waste to the opposition, and help your side conquer all of China. Introduction Dynasty Warriors is an enigma in the gaming world. Almost invariably every installment gets trashed by reviewers and yet it continues to sell and grow as a franchise. Dynasty Warriors is a franchise that has been beaten against peoples skulls with the lackluster release of the same gameplay with barely noticeable tweaks. This game is no exception. Dynasty warriors plays much like every other dynasty warriors game. You have a block, an attack, charge attack, and a musou attack. You run through hordes of armies killing heros and officers along the way based on the Romance of the Three Kingdoms novels. You still have your basic musou, free, and challenge modes ...

Dynasty Warriors 6 is the 18 installment of the hack n’ slash franchise. The story takes place as many of you know in feudal China as three factions Wei, Wu, and Shu fight for control of the land.
