I will seek to watch it live, although in previous years I mainly watched clips and whatnot (except last year's, I watched the whole 3 pressers [lol presser] ), but I think this year's E3 is gonna be full of surprises. We've got Move, Natal, secret Nintendo stuff and the 3DS. It could be awesome. I have high expectations, maybe they'll come kick me in the behind once we find out Nintendo's conference is full of Vitality Sensor talk.
What say you?
Bonus question: Where will you watch it?
E3 2010
Concept »
The 2010 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) took place at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, California on June 15-17.
Are you gonna watch E3 live?
I always try and catch the press conferences live. Other coverage, though, I'll watch hit and miss. What's most important is all the new trailers and game-play video that will be coming out next week.
I'll most likely end up DVR'ing it and fast forwarding through most of the stuff. It's summer now, the weathers beautiful and since I don't have to work ,it seems like a total waste of time to sit indoors and hear people talk about stuff that most of us already know about.
I've been thinking about it, I generally try and keep my eyes closed to any reveals so when I watch it after work to see if I personally find certain things genuinely interesting.
How about a maybe option? Last year was the first time I watched the broadcast at all and I did watch it live but I don't know if there's enough to excite me this year to watch it.
Pretty much half of both Sony and MS will be motion controls and that stuff is going to bore me to tears. Unless of course there's more hilarious demos of people spazzing out on stage, that could be fun.
As it's part of my job, I'm definitely going to be watching every single slice of gaming goodness [end overused gaming cliches here] from E3 live streams.
Oh yes! Last year was great as me and a mate sat down and pleaded at the screen for any episode 3 news from valve........... stupid valve......
I usually watch the trailers as they come out and just listen to Bombcast for their inebriated coverage of the events at E3. Besides I work second shift in the Eastern Time Zone so I am working when they do live coverage.
Probably. Question (no one seemed to be answering the bonus if they said yes), where are all of you watching it? I wanna know what good places there are to get some good quality video on the show.
I'll probably head over to Gamespot and watch their stuff on it, as I have the past couple of years. Well, unless GB does it live. But yeah, Gamespot usually has some interviews with games from E3 with some gameplay footage, and it's always fun to watch E3 stuff. After that, then I'll probably eagerly wait for GB to put up their footage and watch it too.
I will try but sometimes servers get interrupted, blackouts, or internet has been out for various press conferences and such. Always happens.
It's funny, but I don't remember where I watched it last time. Doesn't Gametrailers have a live stream?
I did last year but I don't really give a shit anymore. The most fun thing was the chatrooms, trolling fanboys and the like.
Depends.. Microsoft tend to usually put on really good shows, and Sony seemed to learn last year as well and put on a great display of their upcoming games.
Nintendo at least had a couple of worth while announcements, but was still filled with annoying PR talk, powerpoint presentations and Cammy. So I may skip theirs and just watch the highlights, but it depends at the time. I do really want to see the new DS and the prospect of a new Zelda is rather enticing.
Won't bother with EA's, or Ubisofts, etc, either, especially as they tend to be on quite late here.
