Hey Duders,

Did you miss any of the 2012 Electronic Entertainment Expo press conferences? Or any of the Giant Bomb chat room experiences that came with those press conferences? Well, bully for you, because I went ahead and recorded 128 gigabytes (or 10 hours and 43 minutes in the new money) of video footage of the fucking chat room. I then took the 720p downloaded versions of each presser (weighing in at 11 gigabytes total, or 6 hours and 28 minutes in British English), those lovely user-created E3 banners, and then blitzed it all up and created this video thing.

Since this is up on YouTube (in 1080p) I also plan to annotate and provide clickable links to the various hyperlinks and gifs and stuff that were posted in the chat room. I will be doing this for all of the conferences this year, and I plan to do more of this kind of stupid crap in the future; if more than one other person finds it useful/funny/watchable/stupid/great/shit.

The chat made me sad to be a member of this community... until, I clicked the "following" tab, everyone there was completely pleasant, reasonable, and excited about what was going on. I love you guys!

Holy shit this is perfect. One of the things I love about E3 and live shows on GB is the chat and general fuckery that happens there, and I was totally busy for all of this years E3 so I missed all of it. CHeers mate.

On the other hand, I usually spend live events with the chat closed because it's usually filled with non stop bitching and assholes. So, while I can marvel at this feat, I have no intention of watching them. Keep on keepin' on though!

Things will never be completely in sync, bear in mind that things were showing on different people's streams at different times, and my version of the offline press conference is simply behind those people. I've tried to balance it as best I can.
