So you might be wondering why this's in the Modern Warfare 2 section.
Well Frank Zampella and Jason West are the guys who're heading it up, and even more interestingly they're going to based in a nearby area to where they used to work in Los Angeles.
Not exactly a friendly gesture to their previous employers.
With EA making a deal to to be Respawn Entertainments' only future publisher, under the EA partners program, this seems sure to be tthe secure future that Zampella and west were probably looking as videogame developers.
For a cut of Infinity Wards profits EA could possibly be seeing future profits that may rival the $4 billion gross profit that Infinity Ward made from Call of duty 4: Modern Warfare and Call of duty: Modern Warfare 2.
Activision Filed a counter-suit on friday claiming that Zampella and West had hired a private jet and headed out for a meeting with some of the most senior heads of their fiercest competitor, claiming they were " self-serving schemers".
And while EA wasn't actually named, one of their main competitors is of course EA.
Activision has since made a statement, saying that; "This agreement comes as no surprise to Activision given the myriad of improper activities detailed in the cross-complaint filed on Friday against Jason West and Vince Zampella. We look forward to continuing to work with Infinity Ward’s deep bench of proven talent on exciting new projects."
With Activision seeming almost resentful, AGAIN (*Brutal Legend*), they won't be pleased to know that Zampella and West are open for business and looking to hire.
EA backing the two developers up by stating that; " we’re honored to be their partners and to give them the support they need to hire a team and return to making incredible games."
With the smell of 'Viva la revolution' from both EA and Zampella and west in the air, theirs some definite feathers being ruffled on Activisions side of the fence.
So considering Activision took two of EA's lead developers away this is tense but big win again for both of EA and the two developers.

EA Games is a publishing label used by Electronic Arts for most of its non-sports titles.
EA anounces deal with Respawn Entertainment.
Interesting. Hope this conflict breeds competitive development of games and not competitive strategies of squeezing dollars out of consumers.
Shit coming back 'round, full circle.
They're gonna double cross EA in 5 years AGAIN, just wait and see.
" It's funny how a couple of years ago EA was the enemy, now Activision is, I wonder how long it will take for EA to cock up and become the place everybody likes to hate, Goddamnit people wake up and smell the roses, "When EA is the king of video games again we will all start hating them.
