For whatever reason, gamers seem to hate EA. Is it because they've been so successful? Is it because some of their games are total crap? What is it about EA that people hate?

Games/Franchises published by EA:

• Burnout franchise
• Sims franchise
• Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath
• Battlefield franchise
• Command and Conquer franchise

• Dead Space
• Spore
• Red Alert 3
• Mirror's Edge

I really think is the fact that they totally rip off people (usually not hardcore gamers) with putting out the same games every year. Madden, NBA live, NCCA Football, March Maddnes, ect. 

I didn't hate EA... Until today! When a friend told me Mythic, who is part of EA, took out staff credits in Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning! Boo EA!

I think it is because they are classified as complete sellouts, who ruin some franchises by adding too much useless stuff and launching the same game over and over again with some minor tweaks...I personally don´t hate EA, but they could inject new life on their old franchises.

Apparently, the people were former employees that they decided to leave out of the credits. That's just not right in my book."

The blatant ripoff sports games. The moderately rehashed Burnout and NFS games, and THE FUCKING SECUROM ON SPORE!!!!!!!!

Numerous unpolished PC games, under exploited (ironic isn't it) genera, painful advertising, a horrific game DL service and EAisms.

Now they're not as bad as some people make it, but there are reasons in general to take issue with how they do some things.

I dont hate games that EA publish, I do have a problem with games they develop.
