I thought EA Active for the Wii was interesting and it held my attention for the 30 day challenge. The biggest problem I found with it was its inaccuracy in sensing my motions - it seemed whenever it was up to the nunchuck to tell if I am actually lunging or not it was far less accurate. If Kinect is able to parse out my movements better I will definitely give it a go.
After seeing the Ubisoft thing in the MS presser today, I wonder if there are any higher-impact excersizes in these things - like work with free weights, or have Kinect tell you that you're doing push-ups wrong or something. This 'areobics for 50yo mothers' stuff seems like a waste of time.
