I didn't know there was a concept of Ecans, I thought Ekans was a type of Pokemon, which would make it a character sort of like goomba is a character...
So Pokemon are all individuals, and not members of a specific race? If so, then you're correct. If they are just members of various races, then they should be labeled concepts until the race tab is developed.
