    Overview

    Elevator Action Deluxe is a 2.5D espionage action-platformer developed by SYNC Inc. and digitally published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 on August 30, 2011.

    A remake of the 1983 Taito arcade game Elevator Action, Elevator Action Deluxe has players infiltrating numerous buildings owned by a massive crime syndicate as a special agent in order to retrieve documents on a doomsday device. Playing similar to the original game, it features a linear campaign, new power-ups, and local multiplayer (co-operative and competitive, for up to four players).

    It is also known for having some characters from earlier Taito arcade games as bonus characters, including Pocky from Kiki KaiKai, Reika Kirishima from Time Gal, and voxel versions of both the original Elevator Action protagonist and the paddle from Arkanoid. A port of the original arcade game is also included as a bonus.
