    The starting weapon in Heretic. The Wand uses Wand Crystals to fire weak hitscan shots.

    The Elven Wand is Heretic's basic weapon, analogous to Doom's pistol. While the Wand does a small amount of damage, it can be used for sniping enemies from far away due to the perfect accuracy of the initial shot and the unlimited range of its hitscan projectiles. When enhanced by a Tome of Power, the Wand fires a spread of hitscan shots as well as two fireballs. The maximum ammo capacity is 100, or 200 with a Bag of Holding.
