    He is the Third marshal of the Riddermark and heir to the Throne of Rohan. Even after he was exiled by Theoden, he remained loyal to his king and country. In Peter Jackson's The Lord of The Rings Film Trilogy he was played by the New Zealand actor Karl Urban.

    Eomer is the brother of Eowyn and is the nephew of King Theoden. He was the Third Marshall of the Riddermark. At the battle of the Pelennor Fields Eomer rode into battle with Theoden and the rest of Rohan's army. King Theoden was gravely wounded in the battle of the Pelennor Fields but before he passed on King Theoden named his nephew Eomer as his successor.
