im fixing to play this when it comes out for the ps3. however way too many games are coming out. i was thinking when the storm calms down around January, i would play this enough top appreciate it. but should i just pick it up when it comes out?

I have the game on 360, I think it's a pretty good game, but with the truly impressive lineup for the rest of this year, I'd say no, it's not worth it.  I'd personally put like 10 PS3 games and 30 already released 360 games above it on my list, and there's like 10 more must have titles for me coming later this year...

I just played the demo and canceled my fallout 3 and little big planet reservation just for this game. I think I've just been craving a jrpg for too long but I found the game to be beautiful.

I think you took it a little too far when you cancelled LBP."

Just get a few games you like best, and save the others for the summer gaming drought of next year.

Dunno if id say get this over some of the other amazing games coming out but definitely DO get it sometime. Maybe wait for Christmas time.

I did realy enjoy this game a lot more than many other RPGs, though I did reach Fort Fermata and just get totally put off. That part was so hard.

I tried to get into this game but compared to other RPG's out like Lost Odyssey it falls far shorter. Two things ruined the game for me, the extremely annoying voice of Polka and the fact that the weapons did change when you equipped new ones, there's no excuse for that, Final Fantasy 7 did it many years ago so this game should too.
