I don't play EVE, probably wont after just signing up to WAR. But I wanted to congratulate the folks who took the initiative to create this guild / clan / corp / organisation and place for GiantBomb users to come together and play EVE.

Hmm...well I'll be sure to stay in the chat channel, but I am happy with the corp I am currently in at the moment. That said, I'll keep an eye out if I become intrigued to join or even see if my current corp and the LuchaCorp can stay in good graces to possibly start up an alliance down the road.

As one of the members who is a bit of a noob, I will say that the other guys that know what they are doing are very helpful.  So far it as made EVE way more fun to have some people to play with.  LuchaCorp FTW!!!  This is Lion Taco btw...

It's a good time.  To anyone who's heard about the learning cliff, it's a lot more accessible then when I did another trial about a year ago.  There's tons of tutorials and they spell everything out really well.

Update: We're setting up a new station that will make us loads of money. If all goes well we may even offer signing bonuses for the corp!

You're going fast, bro. It's been like one week and you already have just set up your second station, not to mention you're signing some kinda merger. Having never played EVE, it's likely that I'll be entirely wrong and this is just beginner stuff, but it looksl ike you guys are making progress.

I just became aware of this website via my corps merger with Harris’ corp.  I am loving what I am seeing so far :P


I have been playing eve for 1.5 years and have seen pretty much all the game has to offer in that time.  I have built corps, ran in fleet battles, been a pay for hire mercenary and even pirated.  Its fun :P   

EVE delivers in the sense that you really do need to forge your own path in the game.  Nothing is handed to you and your character’s race is irrelevant.  We aim to set up an environment that will function as a massive knowledge base and help new players discover their potential in New Eden.  The sky is the limit and you will not be newb for very long :P

Update as requested: We now have 34 members and are growing steadily. Things are going great, although we could use more giantbombers. There's stuff going on every day, so the corp is very much active and alive.

i just downloaded the trial off steam some days ago and gave up shortly after. bit too daunting at first.  but i'm back in now currently mining away at some punk ass space rock.

I think Lucha Corp merged with another one and, well, they haven't updated this thread or jumped into their channel for a little while from what I've noticed.

Im downloading the 21-trial now. If anyone from the communitive can give a heads up to how Im able to join the LuchaCorp or whatever they merged to, I would be very happy.

Just got into EVE in the last week. Really amazing game.

Hey everyone, sorry for not updating this thread in a long time. I'm not currently active in eve, but here's the state of the corp: 
 A until a week or two ago, we were the executor corp of the REIGN alliance. At it's height we had almost 1000 players in the alliance. The alliance fell apart, though. We're now in a new alliance, not sure about the details. 
 
However, at this point, it's hard to call it our corp. As far as I know there has been no GiantBomb member involvement in the corp for quite some time. But it's nice to know that some of us helped make something so big.

Giantbombers should start another Luchacorp, but with a moral agenda to resist big business!!! Small scale local business! In space!
 
I'm sure that would work perfectly well in EVE...

Well, I've finally restarted my subscription, so if anyone starts up a new LuchaCorp, I'd be happy to join. Also, lets get some people in the GiantBomb channel eh?
