Antonica, formerly known as Tunaria, is the largest continent in the world of Norrath.
A place to buy and repair equipment -- a necessity for any traveling adventurer. You might even try your hand at the forge yourself, if you have the skill.
A general location used to store and invest money. Whether players rob it, or store money in it and gain some interest, banks are a long-standing institution in video games.
A place to buy alcoholic beverages and to mingle/meet with non player characters. Bars in games are sometimes essential to advance the plot, or recruit party members. Bars are the modern equivalents of taverns. You see taverns in fantasy games and bars in modern/sci-fi games.
Because some bridges are too large to be considered mere objects.

A city is a large and densely populated urban area.
In the Depths of Darkhollow, Corathus Creep is the region closest to Norrath's surface. The clockwork outpost here features anything an adventurer needs before going deeper.
Dreadspire Keep is Mayong Mistmoore's secret castle built atop The Hive in the depths of Darkhollow.
Many hapless heroes have ended their days in a gloomy dungeon looking for rat's bones to pick the lock with. Dungeons appear in many games often as a location from which the main protagonist must escape.
Halls, also called hallways or corridors, are areas that connect rooms. Not much happens here except people going from one room to another, but in some games the player sees little else.
Where evil is created, or at least where scientific experiments are conducted. Test tubes filled with pretty liquids are almost a must.

Generic level #23. About all dungeon crawlers have at least 1 mine in it. Most mines that are in games are the underground local and usually have plenty of booty hidden in the mine. Also, plenty of monsters usually inhabit mines in video games.

The tavern offers respite for weary travelers and parched throats alike. Leave your troubles at the door, and enjoy an evening of wine and song.
An intricate, often ancient, structure devoted to a deity, usually filled with traps and overly enthusiastic followers.
The Hive is home to the vile drachnids of Stoneroot Falls in the depths of Darkhollow.
A covered passageway.
Underneath a planet's surface is considered to be underground, especially if it is near the top of the surface. Some of the games have you digging through the dirt.
