    The Outer Brood is the thirty-first expansion for EverQuest. An otherwordly threat has arrived in Norrath. A colossal dragon with an entire city on its back has appeared on the horizon, flanked by enormous four-winged dragons.

    Overview

    The thirty-first expansion to EverQuest begins with Vulak`Aerr, the most powerful dragon in Temple of Veeshan calling out to his god for assistance in reclaiming Norrath for dragons. The prayers are answered by a race of colossal, four-winged dragons from another world who are here to claim the planet for themselves.

    The hub zone for this expansion is in a previously inaccessible area just north of Freeport called Hodstock Hills. This area of Norrath previously appeared in EverQuest Online Adventures, which was released for PlayStation 2 in 2003.

    This expansion also lets players choose a new race/class combination, which is Dark Elf Rangers.
