Just as I began to type this, I realized that the game Benzzzzzz of (ex) Rockstar Games fame is making was called Everywhere, not Everything.

Oh well, this still looks odd and kinda goofy. I demand a GBeast QL.

I saw nothing in that to indicate there's an interesting game hidden in there, and the lecture doesn't count.

I did not come away from "Mountain" (David O'Reilly's last game) with a high opinion of my experience. This looks like that sort of an experience, just writ much, much, much larger.

I didn't like Mountain very much, I guess I just didn't get it. This seems to be in the same sort of experimental vain. I'm not a fan of the philosophical narration either, that was grating to hear from just watching the trailer.

This trailer was a special kind of not giving a fuck.

I can't fucking believe I'm hearing an Alan Watts lecture over a video game trailer. This is incredible.

I still have no idea what the hell you're supposed to be doing in this game but the lecture sounded interesting.

What a terrible name for a game -- straight out of an Abbott and Costello sketch. It's almost like they are trying to create brand confusion to hamper their own sales.

"Have you played Everything?"

"Uh, what?"

"Everything, have you played it?"

"?"

General rule of thumb, if people are going to have to explain: 'There's a new game called out that's literally called "Everything"' in order for others to understand what game they are talking about then you did a horrible job of naming your game.

Love it. Don't want to play it but I may give them my money anyway.

So, has anyone given this a go yet? Does it really contain audio clips of Alan Watts? Is there a game in there? How did it make you feel?

There's too many indie games coming in March/April that I'd buy this myself, but I'm still a little curious. I saw Jeff had earned a few trophies on this last week, so maybe there'll be a mellow weekend QL at some point?

I've really enjoyed my first couple of hours with the game. However I reached the part shown in the Quick Look where you're instructed to descend back into the Golden Gate. Is this something that I'll just happen upon? I've been descending like a madman trying to look for nice habitable green planets, but can't find the damn gate.

Is there an end to this? Should I just keep going? I think I will regardless.

Alan Watts' lectures are always very interesting to me. I just don't get tired of listening to them. What a weird choice for the trailer, what a strange-looking game. Between this and Jeff's impressions I'm getting kinda interested.

I really want to just leave this game on for 20 hours automatically and see how many trophies unlock.
