So since we're all kinda figuring this thing out collectively I figured why not a general questions thread where the more seasoned players can help out us new folks learning the ropes.

So far I've got 2 questions.

I'm playing on PS4 and the fov seems wild. Playing as the Goliath for the first time - just felt strange. Is this just me? Or is anyone else experiencing some fov issues?

I ran through the tutorial for Goliath and Markov...and then nothing. Are there no more tutorials? GameFaqs seems to tell me that thats it - just these 2 tutorials and some videos. Is that true?

FOV never bothered me for the monster or hunters. As far as the tutorials I think it's supposed to give you a very basic understanding of how the monster works and how the hunter works. Everytime you play a new character you get a really well down video to kind of explain each ability. It's worth noting that if you do still feel uncomfortable I would try solo play. The bots in this game are legitimately good and will give you a pretty good simulation of how games will play out.

Last night I had my clicking moment where I went from hey this game is cool! To "hey this game is fucking awesome"! Keep playing, get used to it and I'm sure more people will have that moment as well.

Good advice - and yeah i'm sticking with just bots and new people for now.

I wonder if the FOV thing is just me since I haven't played an FPS game in awhile...

Nothing bothered me personally about the fov.

The two tutorials are all there is. You can pick up the other roles quickly, once you have a basic understanding of the game.

I have a hot tip: don't shoot at the monster if it's far away during a chase because each time it takes damage it will gain an extra stamina point so it can jump away.
