Worst experience grind you have 'experienced' in a game?

I'd say Everquest pre-4th expansion. That's harsh stuff right there.
MapleStory is just (if not more) ridiculous, due to boredom setting in easily and requiring insane amounts of xp to level up.
WOW has nothing on these days, wow is actually tolerable for me.

Any MMORPG I've played. Almost all MMORPG's are just one huge experience grind.

Final Fantasy XI level 70-75 was hell

Typically, any MMORPG, but Maple Story was the worst by far.

Any MMO ...and getting a Magikarp to turn into a Gyrados = horrible.

A man, chasing me with scissors. Absolutely terrifying. Not fun at all. But you're talking about experience "grinding," so I guess I take that back. Or something.

Play Granado Espada (aka Sword of the New World) and tell me WoW is a grind, lol.  Hate WoW to begin with but GE is BAD.

Maplestory was awful. I never really got too far in that game.

Lineage 2 Pre-Chaotic Throne. I've played a ton of MMO's and been in a lot of bad grinds before, but to me that one was the worst.

Dragon Quest VIII was a big grind as far as single player rpgs are concerned

Ys: The Ark of Napishtim, I had to level up just so I can damage the Boss. And FFTA, I trained my Archer from Lv.16 to Lv.40 in one match which took a really long  time.
