In the games where the shotshell is used as a power bonus, the ammo pool for these shells is smaller than the one for the classic shotshells and the ammo harder to find and even hidden in secret parts of the level and the shell uses the pellet variant.
The grenade slug isn't common but it will probably be used some day, on the right there is the grenade slug.
