Extreme Exorcism
When you first look at Extreme Exorcism, you might think the same thing I did: "Wow, great, it's Generic Indie Arena Fighter #5453445." And, well...that's not really an argument I can defend this game against, but at least this is a well done Generic Indie Arena Fighter with some genuine passion put into it.
I also appreciate the good balance between multi- and single-player content - even AAA games get this wrong occasionally. I'm talking your Red Dead Redemption (the original, haven't seen much of 2) or early Mario Party games - games that are technically compatible with both single or multiplayer play but really are just single or multiplayer focused games that have some half-assed little mode stuck on to satisfy the other side.
Extreme Exorcism doesn't do that - you can play this game as a friendless loner or as a group of lads sinking beers together on the couch or over Parsec or what have you and you'll get mostly the same effect.
Otherwise, it's your typical Indie fighting game - these games tend to live or die based on control fluidity and weapon variety and Extreme Exorcism has a decent amount of both of these things, so I'll give it a light recommend for people who are into these types of games.
