    Hey I am playing Fallout 3 and I have the GoTY edition but I want Fawkes to start the Purifier but there is no option to. 
     
    Suggestions?

    I don't know what's wrong but I wouldn't recommend sending Fawkes in. They will just call you a coward afterwards.

    But if you have Broken Steel, you (your character) can enter the Purifier without problems... Why do you want Fawkes to do it, when you can do it yourself?

    Yes but I am concerned that it is not working since if it were there should be that option. I am wondering if there are any other ways to tell if it is working.

    Can't you just quick-save before going in to see if it's bugged or not? In the worst case scenario, you can just load right back up at the Purifier.

    Don't know the answer to you question, sorry. However I do have one of my own: Where does Fawkes go when you go to point lookout? I can't find him anymore.

    Whatever, it doesn't matter.  Just send in whoever because with Broken Steel, the choice is meaningless.  If Fawkes can't do it, you do it.  Or just to be a dick, send in the girl.

    I'm not sure if this works with the Steam version but try looking for a couple of files named 

    BrokenSteel.esm

    BrokenSteel - Main.bsa

    BrokenSteel - Sounds.bsa
    Etc.

     in your Fallout 3 directory, then move these files to your main data folder.

    @NekuSakuraba: Make sure the DLC is activated under the Data Files option from the launcher.  Also, make sure you're logged into Games for Windows Live inside of Fallout 3.
