16 hours, level 21. 6-7 of those hours were settlement nonsense.

@steadying: They claim there is no cap and you can keep levelling and playing forever. Which means you could play long enough with the never ending quests (the ones that repeat over and over and over) and random enemy spawns to hit level 256 or what ever. Which is what level you have to be to fill in every thing on the perk menu.

Hours: around 45. Playclock says almost 60 but I'm pretty sure it still counts when in rest mode.

I've spent a lot of time doing settlement stuff, but I also play these games at a glacial pace. I didn't get to Diamond City till over 20 hours in.

@stonyman65: @soulcake: I take it all faction stuff is gone at that point. You can't go back and do things for them once the main story is over I'd assume. I'm not very far in, just wondering if I can do everything with one character/playthrough, if its going to take multiple to see all factions play out.

Level 42, 74 hours in (maybe 5-6 of them just standing around). I'm maybe at the halfway point of the main story line by now, done with the Minutemen, 2/3 of the way through the Brooderhood of Steel and the Railroad stuff.

Spent way to much time building up settlements.

Idiot Savant is broken as fuck. My buddy has 15 hours played and he's level 27 right now.

Meanwhile, I have 24 hours played and I'm level 23.

Cant check right now, but one level per hour seems about right. Im somewhere in the higher twenties.

Level 20, 60 hours.

Lots of futzing around in the workshop, and slowly clomping my way around the Commonwealth in my power armor.

I've been doing a lot of the side quests for the factions. The last main quest I did was when you find Virgil in the Glowing Sea, which I thought was such an awesome area.

I'm 29 hours in, level 22. I've spent a lot of time building up sanctuary, as well as just roaming the wasteland. Got to diamond city about two hours ago.

39 and 52 hours. I leveled up really really slowly to started with cause I did basically no quests for the first 12 hours. Caught up since though.

Level 24 and 31 hours.

Level 47. I've played for... 83 hours...
