I've been collecting a lot of junk because I assumed it gets broken down into crafting parts. I've been jamming all of the junk and such into a workbench, is it broken down from there into adhesive, steel, ect or do I have to take another step? Or am I completely wrong about all of this? Thanks

@neezie: It gets broken done when you actually craft something that needs a crafting part, which is on one of those items. So it does happen automatically. (Weapons/armour you need to scrap manually.)

I really hope someone makes a mod for quick scrapping of equipment. Just did a stack of 8 weapons, and I don't even want to look at all my raider armor. ugh.
