The post-apocalyptic Fallout universe expands into Nevada in this new title in the franchise. As a courier once left for dead by a mysterious man in a striped suit, the player must now set out to find their assailant and uncover the secrets of the enigmatic ruler of New Vegas.
Oh, yeah. This would be good to know right away. I'm going to need to know where I can store all the crap I find out in the wastes. It's not fun running around on the brink of being over-encumbered, without knowing where to store your stuff.
I'm pretty sure the main one you're supposed to get is the tower which you can see from outside New Vegas. It's not long after you arrive in New Vegas that you're given exclusive access to the building.
Also, does anyone feel like they got a ton of stuff and there's not enough merchants to sell them too? Most of the towns I've been too don't appear to have shops in which I can hock all my junk.
If you haven't made it to Novac yet, I would suggest using Victor's Shack in Goodsprings, you can fast travel to the Schoolhouse and you're right there. Plenty of containers and a bed, bummer is you don't own the bed so no Well Rested bonus, but still a nice house.
I've been using the Novac hotel room. 2 loading screens.
I'd like to use the penthouse but that involves fast traveling to the gate, entering the strip, entering the Lucky 38, and entering the elevator. 4 loading screens. Ridiculous.
