I've always wondered what it tastes like since I had over 25 bottles of the stuff at one point. It's becoming so ridiculous that rexes secondary job besides biting and knocking people down, is to be my personal cooler of fine drinks found in the wasteland. Someday I will have a room filled to the brim with sarsaparilla bottles If I don't drink them first that is. So what are your little quirks that you have in new vegas?

I first encountered it when I was driving across death valley. Was running low on bottled water and came across this bar/hunting supply/gun store and Sarsaparilla was the only none alcoholic bottled drink they sold. Cheap though, was about 50 cents a bottle (this was a while ago). Bars in the UK won't even sell you a coke for less than about £2.
Never knew it was such a niche drink... You can get it everywhere here in Australia.

The sarsaparilla I've tasted was similar to root beer, but perhaps less sweet in general. Certainly not exactly the same.
Ginger ale though, that is the drink to drink.
It probably tastes like Bin Ladens infected asshole. Which would also be the reason why no on has sold the shit for decades.
