How many of you would enjoy a New Game + mode for Fallout, similar to that in RE4 and 5? Like, if you could keep all your caps and loot, but start at level 1 again. Or maybe even if you went back to level 1, but kept all your skill points and perks. Perhaps even adding a harder difficulty setting or something. Would anyone play through the game again like that?

I would totally love it, but instead of carrying over my stats or loot or whatever, I want insane, gamebreaking perks. Like mind bullets, or super speed. Or Voltron. I've already spent 50 hours playing through the game once - now, I want to see what it's like to win that shit in twenty minutes.
" @melcene said:i think if the Ammo crafting, or crafting in general, didn't suck so bad, Hardcore mode could be interesting. As it is it just didn't seem worth the bother." I don't think that I would. I'd definitely prefer new content via DLC than playing through the same content again. "Right. As it is, I'm not really looking forward to doing a Hardcore run. "
" @Mrnitropb said:Maybe in the next patch? I've found schematics in the game, that don't unlock anything on any crafting area. Like .44 semi-wadcutters, and such." @melcene said:i think if the Ammo crafting, or crafting in general, didn't suck so bad, Hardcore mode could be interesting. More options are always good, but wrpgs are games were you're supposed to start new characters that play differently and make different choices than the last ones. So keeping the same character and going again probably isn't what they want people to do.
" @Quacktastic: Perhaps just keeping your loot and allowing a re-spec? "Been thinking about borderlands, again, since that damn patch finally came out. They let you respec your character anytime you want, though you're stuck as a class. Would like to reset some of my perks skills now that I'm lvl 30.
" I want them to focus on fixing the game before they even attempt to start making DLC "True that. Every once in a while, the game just freezes up for me (PS3). I've come to expect it at this point. Not often enough that it's unplayable, but often enough to annoy me since I have to get up out of my comfortable sofa to restart my damn console!
My first playthrough of the game (15 hours on hardcore) I didn't have a single freeze or weird glitch. 44 hours in is a different matter entirely...
if you are considering doing a hardcore run i say go for it. in maybe the 40 + hours it took me on my first playthrough i maybe had to sleep three times, if that. the only thing to pay attention to is your h2o and limb damage. however, those two are easy to fix with water, or some of the plants in the wasteland. also, just stock up on doctors bags and hydra for healing limbs.
