    So while frolicking through New Vegas again, I was running through the Gamorrah casino when I heard a disturbingly familiar voice from a shadowy corner: "Gamorrah always smells like booze and sex... just the way I llllike it!"

    Pause. Slow turn. A random "Casino Patron" with wild, sandy blond hair and a dirty Pre-War business suit stands motionless, staring back at me from the corner.

    No Caption Provided

    I shit you not, it soundedjustlike Yosuke. I looked it up on IMDB, but there's no credited entry in New Vegas for Shotaro Morikubo. Has anyone else experienced this? I'm 99% sure it's him.

    EDIT: Whoops, nevermind, was looking at the Japanese version lol Mystery solved. Thanks, :P

    Just so you know: Yuri Lownenthal, the voice of Yosuke, does a fair bit of voiceacting.

    He also voices the main character, do his charge punch or w/e and enjoy you some Yuri.

    Basically after you play Persona 3 and Persona 4, because there's so much voice work in those games, you'll notice those guys in every game they're in. The VAs for Yukari, Yosuke, and Kanji get around.

    In Persona 3 every time you summon your persona as the protagonist, you hear Yosuke too. I actually get a bit confused when I play P3.

    You also hear tons of Liam O'Brien (Akihiko) and Laura Bailey (Rise) in New Vegas as well.

    He does all the goddamn voice acting, just look up his IMDB page. He's been in way more stuff than Nolan North and has been doing it for way longer, so it's always weirded me out that North is the one everyone seems to recognize.

    Actually, so has Jennifer Hale (Naoto) and Troy Baker (Kanji), while we're on the topic. Hale's been in a ton of stuff as far back as MGS1, if I'm not mistaken.

    It seems you and I have wildly different definitions of rock bottom. Sounds to me like Yosuke's living it up!

    Also, I assume you've never played Red Orchestra 2?

    This is like nothing but Yuri Lowenthall and Liam O' Brien. Every single unit is voiced by Yuri it seems.

    This has led me down a dark whole which made me discover that Adachi and Charlie Tunoku have the same voice actor.

    Mind blown.

    @Elazul: Nolan North is the recognizable one because he's been the leading man in so many games, not least of which being the Uncharted games. Yes, Yuri Lowenthal gets around, but to the best of my knowledge he hasn't had any characters as well known as Nathan Drake. Sure, some decent stuff like the Prince in some Prince of Persia games, but hey, so was Nolan North.

    @pyromagnestir:

    lol Fair enough. But after working on Bourbon Street, I can tell you that the odor of alcohol and who knows what else from thousands of tourists congealing on the sidewalks and streets is pretty offensive to my nose, let alone soaking into the nasty-ass carpet of a post-apocalyptic casino.

    @WilltheMagicAsian:

    That clip is hilarious lol Apparently the Wehrmacht were experimenting with making Yosuke clones as die Uber Soldat as a last ditch effort to turn back the Allies.

    Jennifer Hale wasn't Naoto. I forget the name of the actress, but Naoto is not Commander Shepard.

    But yeah. You'll hear a lot from Yosuke, Akihiko and Rise in the game. Amazing that despite Akihiko's Persona being Caesar, Liam doesn't voice a Legion character (to my recollection) so you'll never hear him say "Kai-Sarr".

    Jennifer Hale wasn't Naoto.

    Yeah, I realized that about a half hour after making that post when checking the P4 IMDB page, but I couldn't really be bothered to go back and change it at that point. I have to say though, I did think that Naoto's voice sounded quite a lot like a semi-monotone Hale, and was really quite surprised when I found out she was voiced by someone else.

    Jen Hale is in the same boat as Nolan, she doesn't do a lot of voice work, but the work she does is big time characters.

    Let me just go off the dome for the hardest workers in VG VA I'd go Yuri Lowenthal, Troy Baker, Liam O'Brien for men and Laura Bailey, Michelle Ruff and I don't know, Kari Wahlgren for the ladies.

    Yeah, you'll pretty much find Yuri in every corner of New Vegas. It's common for games like this to double up on voices, especially for incidental characters but Yuri is especially noticeable. He might as well be my damned shadow in New Vegas.

    You know who I think should be heard more in games? Cam Clarke. He has a pretty awesome voice and his roles as Liquid Snake in MGS and Andrei Ulymeda in Killer 7 are memorable. I'd be fine with him in every corner of New Vegas, as long as he yells fox die at me.

    Much like Jim Cummings voiced every single character in Skyrim. Dude is still the best VA though.

    Cam Clarke was in New Vegas. He voiced Dr. Mobius in the Old World Blues DLC. You get to hear him yelling "ROBO-SCORPIONS ATTACK" every so often.
