So here's something i just picked up. It's from Major Nelson.com, an interview about Fallout: New Vegas. It's only in audio, and it's at the end of the show (SInce there are two other games also in the same show). Take some time to listen to it if you want to know something about the game, or maybe you already know everything? Either way, it's a good interview.

I've also used some time to make out some of the questions in text form.

What to expect in Fallout: New Vegas:

Different vibe. More spread out. More dessert. Power and fully functioning buildings.

Whats the timeline in New Vegas?
-couple of years after Fallout 3.
    Weapons?
-Orbital laser, grenade machinegun, light machinegun. Multiple ammo types and weapon customization.
    Level cap?
Out of the box it's 30.
    Monsters?
    New Deathclaws and monsters.

    Fine tuning from Fallout 3:

VATS is back. Iron sight view. A better control over TPS view. Skills in dialogue system.

    Factions?
There are 3 major factions. Battling over Hoover dam.
    Perks?
Myserious Stranger is still in the game. Perk every other level. Some perks from Fallout 3 is still in the game. Some new, like Superslam, meltdown, shotgun surgery.
    Good or evil?
Karma is still in the game, but people react to you with the new system, reputation. You can kill all person in the game except one, due to the story.
    Harcore mode?
Not difficulty, but for hardcore players. Makes it more realistic: Ammo have weight. You need to sleep, drink and eat, or not you will die. Steam packs heals over time. Achievement after completing it in this mode.

What to do for the first time?

Find your own style and gameplay. Tutorial is completly optional. Scale up.

    Why Vegas?
America and the different era's. Good art direction.
