Tried this glitch out myself, and it seems to work just fine. I only did it a couple of times, but it appears to be an infinite glitch. I sincerely doubt this will work after the patches are released, It's definitely not recommended for those who don't want to break the game in their favor, but it's entirely your choice as to whether you use it or not.
If anyone else has any glitches or tips for stuff that isn't exactly supposed to happen the way it was meant, feel free to share 'em below. I don't usually encourage cheating, but this is a single-player game so it's fairly harmless. Also feel free to post any hilarious oddities or weirdness due to glitches that you've seen.
