Got a question for those that bought the game on PC, where is the cd key located in the box to install the game with? A friend of mine bought the game and can't seem to find the key anywhere and I thought I would ask for him here. I figured it would be on the back of the manual but he says it isn't there and he can't find it anywhere in the box.
So where did you find your cd key?
Fallout: New Vegas
Game » consists of 25 releases. Released Oct 19, 2010
The post-apocalyptic Fallout universe expands into Nevada in this new title in the franchise. As a courier once left for dead by a mysterious man in a striped suit, the player must now set out to find their assailant and uncover the secrets of the enigmatic ruler of New Vegas.
Question for those who bought the game on PC.
" Bought mine on steam so I couldnt say but judging from the amount of bugs I have seen so far I wouldnt be too surprised if its not in there. =\ "Yeah this game is damn buggy, and the framerate is too low (I can run more demanding games at full specs with no frame issues, this game just has some bad ones).
See, this is why i don't buy the fallout games. There are always too many bugs and to much added content. I tend to wait until they release a game of the year edition so I get all the content and less bugs.
" maybe theres no cd key ? "I have no clue as I have zero interest in that game. He saysh e gets to a point where steam asks for a cd key and he can't find it. Just some codes for DLC or items. I think he said he bought the collectors edition if that means anything.
Tell him when he steals a game that has steam works installed he needs to use a crack and not register through steam.
I bought digitally so wouldn't know where to find it, but my advice would be to take the game with all contents back to EB games and make them look for the key.
" I bought digitally so wouldn't know where to find it, but my advice would be to take the game with all contents back to EB games and make them look for the key. "That's what he is going to do, but I was hoping it might have just been in some weird place that you wouldn't think to look, like some games have been known to do in the past, and some one who bought the stupid game would say where they found there cd key at.

" in steam. "

" @crusader8463: Friend bought the game? Or "friend" wants to know where the key is in the box for easy retrieval while "browsing" the local Gamestop? "
Friend bought the game and can't find the cd key in the box anywhere. Not sure how many more times I need to say this to make people understand.
I've had problems sometimes finding a CD key for a game now and again, it's not inconceivable, sometimes they are put in weird places.
Why are people such assholes and right away assume theft or other shady shit?
I kind of expect better of GB.
