" @ch13696: Sounds like I've got a right choice for a companion then, I decided my legion stands against everything my "lawful good" character holds sacred after witnessing Nipton lottery. I found it immensely satisfying to let the legion messenger who came to call me to an audience with Caesar in New Vegas to take three steps and then arrange an audience with his brain and a bunch of 12 gauge shots ^^  So far my biggest grief with the came is the McCarran Spy mission, which is bugged for me atm and am unable to complete it in a good way :-/ "
I let Boone do all my Legion dirty work for me. The dude is seriously perfect with a sniper. It's like this...

I've invested well over a day's worth of play time into this game. Certainly one of my favourite games this year.

Its good, but I feel like you are more on rails then Fallout 3.  There is a very obvious way they want you to progress and you can't just take off in a direction and explore like you could at the beginning of Fallout 3.  I am sure eventually once you can take out the random mobs with super high armor exploring is no problem.  But at level 10 I haven't gotten to that point yet.  The rest is solid though, and by solid I mean full of bugs just like the first one.

    so many fucking quests....

loving it but it's got a terrible problem:

After 2 hours of playing it the load times get ridiculously long (1-2) minutes and the game starts to stutter, sometimes to the point of freezing (had 5 freezes in 30 hours of play)

I think it's great, and It looks like it has loads of potential for multiple playthroughs as well. I'm playing it on PC, and I've actually not encountered any bugs at all yet, just the usual jank of the Oblivion / Fallout engine: NPC's rushing to take their positions, bad animations and so on..
It's definitely one of the best games this year, and it will probably improve a lot when people release mods for it that fix bugs and improve the experience.

I really hope though, that the next game is going to be TES V (although Obsidian could be working on Fallout 4 at the same time, why not). Whatever it's going to be, it'll have to have a new engine. This game is great because of the story, the atmosphere, the characters and so on, but a lot of it feels jagged, like it wasn't properly completed. There's lots of weird stuff to be seen, and it's all down to the engine. Hopefully they are working on a new one, because this engine really dragged down both Oblivion and the Fallout games.
